Vista sites |
specialist sites :
This area is devoted to
sites specialising in the
new Windows operating system Windows Vista. Some of these sites are also available on
the drivers page and Microsoft specialist page. As there is such
a lot of interest in Vista I have brought them all here in a single,
handy area. Any new operating system brings with it several sites devoted
especially to it and this is no exception. There are many really great
sites out there. I will try to add as many as I can as I find them.
Try them out and in you read about or find a really helpful site please
me the details.

Windows Process Library In the recesses of your computer, 20-30 invisible processes run silently in the background. Some hog system resources, turning your PC into a sluggish computer. Worse yet, other useless processes harbour spyware and Trojans - violating your privacy and giving hackers free reign on your computer. WinTasks Process Library is an invaluable resource for anyone who wants to know the exact purpose of every single process.
Slipstream and Install
is a utility program that will combine an original XP distribution
disk, the assorted hot fixes and updates to produce an up-to-date XP
XPCREATE allows the user to define custom installations and setup programs, but it's main richness lies in the slipstreaming of most available updates and hot fixes, thus insuring the integrity of both the initial installation, and the physical CD media.
Slipstreaming the latest hot fixes and updates is important in avoiding possible
vulnerability attacks during the setup phase, and in avoiding the need to re-apply hot fixes after a windows component is added or removed.
