W32-Blaster Worm Removal Instructions

1. Right click on my computer, select properties from the menu.
2. Click on system restore.
3. Click on the turn off system restore on all drives
4. Click on yes
5. Shutdown your pc.
6. Restart your computer and press F8 as your computer starts up
7. On the menu select safe mode
8. Insert the fix blaster worm disk.
9. Double click on my computer
10. Double click on floppy drive
11. Double click on FixBlast file
12. Click Start
13. Allow the tool to run once finished restart your pc and run the tool again(repeat steps 8-12)
14. Insert Microsoft security update disk
15. Double click on my computer
16. Double click on floppy drive
17. Double click WindowsXP-KB823980-x86-ENU file
18. Accept the terms and allow your pc to be updated.
